Laundry

Saturday night Mandy and I decided to make home made laundry soap. I've been wanting to do this for awhile and I had all the ingredients to make it. So on Saturday we finally made it! It is so easy to make all you need to make it is Borax, Washing Soda, and Fels Naptha.
{you can only get Fels Naptha at Frys}

Ingredients:

1 Fels Naptha soap bar, grated
1 cup washing soda
1/2 cup borax

Instructions:

Grate the soap bar into a small saucepan. Cover with hot water. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring continually, until the soap completely dissolves.

Put washing soda and borax in a 5-gallon bucket. Pour in the hot, melted soap mixture. Stir well, until all the powder is dissolved. Fill the bucket to the top with more hot tap water. Stir, cover securely, and let set overnight. The next morning, stir the mixture. Mix equal amounts of soap concentrate and water in a smaller laundry-detergent dispenser or container. Shake before using.

For top-loading machines: Use 1 cup of the soap mixture per load.

For front-loading machines: Use 1/2 cup per load.

3 months already?

I can't believe Tillman is already 3 months old!! That is so crazy to me! All those nights where I would think "I could go into labor any second" {which I never did haha} At the same time I feel like Tillman has been in my life forever! I can't describe how much I love him! I just can't get enough of that little guy! Everything he does is so cute {even his little cry}. Being a mother is the greatest gift ever! He means the world to Aaron and me. I'm so glad my parents raised me in the church and I met a worthy man that could take me to the Temple, so we could be sealed for time and eternity. I would never want it to be any other way. I love my family and I want to be with them forever!

Johnny

Today Aaron and I were able to meet Johnny Knoxville and Jeff Tremaine thanks to my friend Emily! She works in the film department at ASU. They came down to promote Jackass 3D so she hooked us up! They are such nice guys. They absolutely LOVED Tillman! First we waited in line to get his autograph and picture. After that we went into a classroom and we were able to ask them questions about the movie. Once we were done with the questions they came up to Tillman again! :) it was so much fun!! THANKS EM!!!

Tillman's Blessing/Labor Day

Last Sunday we blessed Tillman! It was such a wonderful day, the blessing was so beautiful! I'm so grateful to have a husband who is a worthy priesthood holder. I'm so glad that Aaron and I were married in the Temple and that our family is sealed for Time and Eternity.
