Biggie Smalls is born

Earlier this afternoon, July 16th, Biggie Smalls was born. He is the latest to the Webster herd of cattle and we saw him get squeezed out. It was AWESOME!!!!!!! I felt so terribly bad for the mother cow because she is a black angus so obviously she is all black and it was so darn hot out there but she pulled through. She was on her side pushing him out but then it became a little tough for her. Aaron became Dr. cow and went to pull him out but she stood right up and plopped him out. I was 5 feet from the action! He is so cute, all black of course and already falling into the ditch. Aaron made sure to put him in a safe coral for the night so he doesn't get into any more mischife. And momma cow is doing great.

The 4th Of July!

Aaron and I went to California for the 4th of July. I think we started a new tradition because last year, when we were dating, we went to California on the 4th. This year, we stayed with my aunt Lisa. She lives in Culver City (it's in LA). We arrived there Friday night at 8-ish. Once we got there we went swimming and ate pizza. The next day Aaron and I went to Venice Beach. It was so fun walking around there. Venice Beach is home to Muscle Beach so they were having a muscle contest so there was all these buff guys in speedo's walking around... there were even some girls!! We also went to The London. It's Gordon Ramsey's Restaurant. It was so beautiful in there, Aaron and I will have to save our money so we can eat there next time! At 3:00pm, we headed to a BBQ at Lisa's friends house. They live on a mountain so we could see a couple different fire work shows. We played a game of pictionary while we were waiting for the firework show. Silly me read the wrong card 3 times so Aaron and I didn't have a very good start thanks to me! Aaron was about to squeeze my head off but he pulled us through! On Sunday we went to another BBQ at my uncle James's house. After the BBQ, we went for a walk around the LA Temple. It was so pretty and so green compared to the Mesa Temple. It was so much fun going to California.
